Schneider Electric to Modernize Texas Assembly Plant
Project will create 300 new manufacturing jobs.

EL PASO, TX—Schneider Electric USA Inc. is modernizing and expanding its electrical equipment manufacturing facilities here. The project, funded in part by a $1.5 million Texas Enterprise Fund grant, is expected to generate 300 new jobs.
Schneider Electric makes energy management products, industrial automation, building systems, and software. The upgrades are expected to increase manufacturing capacity for medium-voltage switchgear used in the Texas data center market.
