Scout Motors Expands Facility in South Carolina with $300 Million Supplier Park

COLUMBIA, SC—Scout Motors will invest an additional $300 million to build a Supplier Park at its Blythewood Production Center, bringing its total commitment in South Carolina to more than $2.3 billion. The project, which comes without new government incentives, is expected to support around 1,000 supplier jobs and generate $368 million in related local investment.
The 200-acre park will include a Just-in-Time parts facility, a high-volume battery assembly building, and an accessories center. Positioned next to Scout’s main production site, it will serve as a logistics and manufacturing hub designed to strengthen the company’s domestic supply chain for trucks and SUVs.
Initial vehicle production at the Blythewood facility is slated to begin in 2027.
