SEATTLE—Pushing for faster production of its 787 Dreamliner, Boeing is cutting the amount of work needed to make the planes ready to fly after they leave the assembly line.
WICHITA, KS—Spirit Aerosystems is preparing to produce up to 60 fuselages a month to keep up with demand from Boeing’s 737 assembly plant in Renton, WA.
