MILWAUKEE—Harley-Davidson has unveiled two models that are based on its LiveWire brand’s standard S2 platform, but come equipped with law enforcement-ready upgrades.

MILWAUKEE, WI—Harley-Davidson, stung by new tariffs, said on Monday that it will shift some motorcycle production to factories outside the U.S. According to CBS News, the motorcycle manufacturer is shifting production of motorcycles heading to Europe from the U.S. to overseas factories because EU tariffs on its motorcycles exported from the U.S. have surged from 6 percent to 31 percent.
MILWAUKEE—There are a lot of good reasons for Harley-Davidson to open an assembly plant in Thailand, and few, mostly jingoistic, ones against it, but the irony is that the quintessential American motorcycle maker is going abroad because it is being punished by the same sort of trade rules it once championed.
YORK, PA—Employees at Harley-Davidson’s assembly plant here have worked out a new labor agreement with the company. Represented by the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers Local 175, the 970 employees ratified a new deal through 2022, which takes effect Feb. 1, 2016.
MILWAUKEE—Harley-Davidson has introduced its first electric motorcycle, the LiveWire, this month. The company is taking several dozen riders on a 30-city tour to test drive the bikes and provide feedback.
