PORTLAND, OR—Daimler Truck North America is creating an initiative called Greenlane that will design, develop, install and operate a nationwide network of charging facilities.

Vehicles are slowly starting to roll off assembly lines, but this new class of truck is expected to dominate the market within the next 15 years.
DEARBORN, MI—Ford Motor Co. has begun assembling the F-150 Lightning pickup truck at the Rouge Electric Vehicle Center here, which is located within the historic Rouge Complex.
