NEW BOSTON, MI—Inergy Automotive Systems has opened a new $110 million assembly plant here to make plastic fuel tanks. It is expected to create 400 new jobs.

OSHAWA, ON—GM will continue to operate its assembly plant here through 2016. The line was due to shut down next summer.

MONTGOMERY, AL—Automotive supplier DENSO Corp. will open a new $2.2 million assembly plant here that will employ 45 workers.
