NEOLA, IA—Heartland Harness, a 22-year-old custom wire harness and cable assembly manufacturer, has opened a new facility here. The 10,000-square-foot building features state-of-the-art automated wire processing equipment.
“The new facility expands our capacity to serve OEMs across the agricultural, industrial engine and heavy equipment industries from our location 20 miles northeast of Council Bluffs,” says Kelle Vos, general manager of Heartland Harness.
“The facility houses newly purchased braiding equipment and new automatic processing machines that expand both our capacity and our capability,” explains Vos. “It gives us the space and the equipment we need to grow with our customers and bring on the team to meet rising demand.”
Heartland Harness serves OEM customers across the Midwest. It is a subsidiary of Auto-jet, a Clive, IA-based manufacturer that specializes in exhaust systems for buses and trucks.
