Oracle Adds AI Applications for Production Readiness, Kanban Management
BIRMINGHAM, Mich. — Oracle has introduced new AI-powered applications within Oracle Fusion Cloud Supply Chain & Manufacturing (SCM) aimed at improving manufacturing efficiency, production readiness and Kanban management.
Among the four new Fusion Agentic Applications are Production Readiness Workspace, which helps manufacturers reduce setup errors and prevent production delays, and Kanban Administrative Workspace, which uses AI to improve replenishment, reduce shortages and excess inventory, and maintain production flow.
Oracle also introduced new inventory optimization capabilities designed to help organizations improve inventory performance while balancing service levels and inventory costs.
"Supply chain leaders are under increasing pressure to improve service levels, control costs, and respond faster to disruption amid ongoing economic and operational uncertainty," said S.Y. Shenoy, senior vice president of Fusion SCM development at Oracle.
