DAYTON, OH-Motoman Inc.'s Technical Education Center now offers training programs approved by the Veteran's Administration.

This approval allows a military veteran, spouse or dependent who is entitled to funding under the GI Bill to receive payments from the Veteran's Administration for training programs received at the Motoman Technical Education Center. Four programs are available-operator, programming, maintenance and arc welding. Each program consists of a series of courses.

Veterans should contact Motoman for details about the training programs. They should contact the Veteran's Administration for financial details related to payments under the GI bill. The VA will not pay Motoman directly. Payments will be made directly to eligible veterans as monthly living stipends. Students receiving training at the expense of their employers will still be able to receive the stipends.

Motoman now offers more than 30 different training courses, and students can register for the courses online. The training facility at Motoman's headquarters in West Carrollton, OH, includes classrooms with robots on the desktops and fully equipped training laboratories.
