Komax Buys U.S. Machine Builder
DIERIKON, SWITZERLAND--The Komax Group has acquired Ascor Inc. (York, MA), a manufacturer of automated assembly systems for medical, telecommunications and photovoltaic products.
Ascor is the third automation builder Komax has acquired during the past year. Earlier, the company purchased Applied Robotics and Automation and Sibos AG.
Komax manufactures wire processing machines.
