Denso Makes 200 Millionth Instrument Cluster

TOKYO--Denso Corp. produced its 200 millionth instrument cluster July 2 at its plant in Anjo, Japan.
Denso holds 15 percent of the world market for instrument clusters. Last year, the company produced 8.6 million clusters at facilities in Japan, the United States, Mexico, Korea, Australia, the Philippines and Thailand.
The company began producing instrument clusters in 1951. Denso developed the first digital cluster in 1981 and the self-luminescent instrument cluster in 1989.
