PONTIAC, MI-The Detroit News is reporting that a robot killed a 46-year-old man by pulling him into some machinery at a press plant owned by automotive supplier HydroDynamic Technologies Inc. According to the report, Steven McGirr, of Grand Blanc, MI, was performing routine maintenance on the robot early Tuesday morning, Nov. 1, when the incident occurred.
