SANFORD, NC—Federal agents detained at least 30 people during a raid at a firearms assembly plant here last week, an event that led to the arrests of 27 people.

Agents arrested 25 people on criminal charges and two people for civil immigration violations. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement executed a search warrant at Bear Creek Arsenal on Feb. 5. The raid was part of an ongoing investigation into identity theft and fraud.
