General Dynamics Opens New Munitions Assembly Plant in Texas

MESQUITE, TX—General Dynamics (GD) has opened a new assembly plant here to manufacture metal parts for advanced artillery projectiles.
The modern, scalable factory features high levels of automation and innovative manufacturing processes. The flexible line will be able to produce parts for shells ranging in caliber from 60 to 155 millimeters.
