Contract Manufacturer of Medical Devices Expands in Carolina
Expansion will boost production of transcatheter implants.

CHARLOTTE, NC—Medical Murray, a contract manufacturer of class II and III medical devices, is expanding its assembly plant here from 35,000 to 55,000 square feet. This expansion will support increasing global demand for Class III transcatheter implant devices and provide additional Class 7 clean room space.
“Our expanded facility will enhance our production capacity and enable us to better serve our customers worldwide,” said Chris Steadham, general manager of the Charlotte location. “This additional space allows us to increase our production capacity and continue to take on new and more complex development programs.”
Medical Murray’s Charlotte facility specializes in the design, development and manufacturing of transcatheter implants, including covered stents and frames. The expansion will be completed this month, with new clean room space and production lines becoming operational shortly thereafter.Looking for quick answers on assembly and manufacturing topics?
