DAYTONA BEACH, FL—Boeing has officially opened its new 65,000-square-foot Engineering Center at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University’s Research Park, a move expected to bring 400 high-paying jobs to Daytona Beach and Volusia County.
The facility, located in the Cici & Hyatt Brown Center for Aerospace Technology, will support engineering design, research, development, and prototyping for Boeing Defense, Space & Security Air Dominance programs, as well as other advanced technology efforts.
Boeing leaders highlighted the center as a milestone for strengthening innovation, deepening ties with Embry-Riddle, and tapping into a robust talent pipeline. Embry-Riddle officials noted the economic and community benefits, with the Research Park already generating more than $372 million in total economic impact for Florida.
As part of its commitment to the community, Boeing is also investing $100,000 to support STEM programs through the Boys & Girls Club of Volusia/Flagler Counties and food assistance initiatives with Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida.
