Glassdoor Names Top Manufacturing Workplaces in New Award Category

SAUSALITO, CA— Glassdoor has released its 2026 Best Places to Work in Manufacturing & Energy rankings as part of its annual Employees’ Choice Awards, recognizing manufacturers where employees report strong workplace culture, leadership and overall job satisfaction.
For 2026, Glassdoor expanded its industry rankings beyond the Top 100 U.S. Large Employers to highlight the top 25 U.S. companies across five core industries, including Manufacturing & Energy. While these companies differ in size and product focus, Glassdoor notes that all top-ranked workplaces share one common trait: employees consistently vouch for the experience of working there.
Manufacturers and assemblers ranked in the top 10 of Glassdoor’s Manufacturing & Energy list include Boston Scientific (#2), GE Aerospace (#3), Intuitive (#4), Toyota North America (#5), Lockheed Martin (#6), Trane Technologies (#7), Stryker (#9) and Garmin (#10).
Other manufacturing and assembly-focused companies included in Glassdoor’s Manufacturing & Energy top 25 list are Milwaukee Tool (#11), Schneider Electric (#13), Moog Inc. (#14), Siemens (#15) and Cummins (#19). Together, these companies represent a broad range of manufacturing operations, from medical devices and aerospace components to engines, power tools and industrial automation systems.
According to its website, Glassdoor’s Best Places to Work awards have honored companies that employees love to work for, based entirely on voluntary, anonymous feedback. There is no nomination process, no employer-submitted surveys or questionnaires. Rankings are determined solely by employee reviews evaluating factors such as career opportunities, compensation, leadership and work-life balance, making inclusion on the list a fully employee-driven distinction.
Glassdoor emphasizes that making the list starts with employee satisfaction. All recognized manufacturers are unified by a positive employee experience, validated directly by the people working on the factory floor, in engineering and across production operations.
