Hexagon AB has spun off its industrial intelligence and AI software business into a standalone company, Octave Intelligence plc, signaling the growing importance of connected operational data, digital infrastructure and AI-driven industrial analytics across manufacturing and critical infrastructure operations.
"Out with the old, in with the new" is a catchy idiom. But, it can also be costly advice, especially for a manufacturer. Replacing its numerous older machines can cost anywhere from hundreds of thousands to millions of dollars.
Based in Furtwangen, Germany, Ketterer manufactures electromechanical drive systems. The company's products are used to adjust the height of desks and workstations and are also deployed widely in entry systems, warehouses and the machinery industry.
