Built on simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) technology, Artec Jet maps environments while continuously tracking its position without requiring fixed targets or external GPS infrastructure.

The companies said the platform supports high-speed scanning while in motion, reducing capture time compared to traditional static scanning systems. Deployment options include backpack-mounted systems, drone-assisted workflows, vehicle-mounted platforms and autonomous robotic inspection applications.

Potential manufacturing and industrial uses include engineering documentation, industrial inspection, plant digitization, predictive maintenance and operational mapping.
