The AeroJet is a noncontact jet dispenser designed for medium- to high-viscosity materials. Noncontact dispensers enable dispensing from below, the side or oblique directions by dispensing from a distance, thus eliminating the need for Z-axis adjustments. The device is ideal for applications on uneven or narrow areas that cannot be accessed by a typical nozzle-style dispenser. The valve can dispense dots, lines or coatings. The dispenser can handle material viscosity ranging from 50 to 300,000 millipascal-seconds. It can handle underfill fluid, silver-filled paste, moisture-insulation, and UV-cure resin. The dispenser is four times more durable compared with conventional dispensing valves. A nozzle heater ensures consistent viscosity.
