WARSAW, IN—Autocam Medical, a medical device manufacturer, plans to build a $70 million assembly plant here.
The company hopes to break ground on the 100,000-square-foot factory in August or September, with construction expected to take 18 to 25 months. When completed, the plant is expected to create up to 300 new jobs within three to four years.
Based in Kentwood, MI, a suburb of Grand Rapids, Autocam Medical, employs some 700 people worldwide. In addition to Kentwood, the company has operations in Plymouth, MA, Murfreesboro, TN, and Suzhou, China.
