Zoox Opens a New Factory to Assemble Robotaxis

Robotaxis are coming! Amazon subsidiary Zoox, has just opened a new assembly plant in northern California to mass-produce robotaxis. At full capacity, the factory will employ hundreds of people and be able to assemble more than 10,000 robotaxis annually. The factory blends automated and manual processes. Robots are used for material handling, adhesive dispensing, and other tasks. AGVs transport robotaxis down the assembly line. We take you inside the state-of-the-art factory.
