STIHL Donates Battery-Powered Tools for Disaster Recovery Efforts

STIHL Joins Forces with Team Rubicon to Power Volunteer Efforts in Disaster Recovery
VIRGINIA BEACH, VIRGINIA—STIHL Inc. has announced a new partnership with Team Rubicon, a veteran-led humanitarian organization that mobilizes volunteers for disaster response. As part of the collaboration, STIHL is donating $65,000 worth of battery-powered chainsaws and equipment to Team Rubicon’s West Branch Wildland Crew, along with $10,000 for the group’s Ready Reserve Fund, which supports rapid deployment of disaster teams.
STIHL’s contribution underscores the vital role of battery-powered tools in disaster recovery, particularly for clearing debris and restoring access in affected communities. Team Rubicon, supported by more than 200,000 “Greyshirt” volunteers, will use the equipment in both high-profile and overlooked disaster zones.
The partnership is part of STIHL’s Made for America campaign, which highlights the resilience of workers who serve and protect the land, from firefighters to arborists.
