WASHINGTON—Solar, wind and other types of clean energy manufacturing has become an important part of the U.S. industrial economy, according to the American Clean Power Association.
GEORGETOWN, KY—
The solar array will generate approximately 15 million kilowatt-hours of clean electricity annually, equivalent to powering more than 1,400 U.S. homes each year.
The project will generate about 70 percent of the assembly plant’s total energy usage.
