LAS VEGAS—Aptera Motors Corp. has unveiled its much-anticipated solar-powered vehicle at the 2025 Consumer Electronics Show here. The three-wheeled vehicle is covered in solar panels to reduce reliance on grid recharging. It boasts a range of up to 400 miles from a single charge in under one hour.
“Today marks a pivotal moment…for the future of sustainable transportation,” says Chris Anthony, CEO of Aptera Motors. “This vehicle embodies years of innovation and relentless pursuit of energy-efficient mobility. CES is the perfect stage to share our vision and invite the world to join us in creating a cleaner, solar-powered future.
“[Our] sEV is a striking departure from the automotive norm,” claims Anthony. “Unlike larger, heavier vehicles dependent on fossil fuels or grid power, Aptera generates its own energy. It’s a lightweight, self-sufficient solution tailored to today’s world and tomorrow’s challenges.”
Aptera Motors plans to assemble the vehicles as a state-of-the-art factory in Carlsbad, CA.
