LIBERTY, NC—Initial shipments are headed to Mazda Toyota Manufacturing in Huntsville, Alabama, for use in the Toyota Corolla Cross. Starting in September, hybrid modules will also be sent to Toyota Kentucky in Georgetown for installation in the hybrid Camry.

BUFFALO, WV—Production of the new drivetrain components—critical for hybrid electric vehicles—is set to begin in late 2026 and will support Toyota and Lexus models assembled in North America.
At full capacity, the factory is expected to employ 5,000 people.
