There’s an ongoing push toward lighter, smaller, thinner and more environmentally friendly wire and cable insulation in the auto industry. This affects cutting, stripping, crimping and other wire processing applications.
All day long, wire harnesses are sealed against
porosity at nine Magna-Tech Manufacturing facilities located throughout North America. These wire harnesses are of different
lengths, contain wire of different thicknesses, and are made by Tier 1
suppliers such as Delphi, ATPI, Siemens, Group
Dekko and Federal Mogul.
Automatic cutting, stripping and crimping equipment may get the glory at a harness assembly shop, but there’s a host of ancillary equipment that can make work on the shop floor easier.
